The first press reviews of the Zaha Hadid - Architecture and Design exhibition have been published.

Edwin Heathcote, architecture critic at the Financial Times, has written a review/interview (above) in which he states: “Her time has come. The Design Museum show documents an architect at the peak of her career.”

Colin Amery at Bloomberg News has published a piece that is even more effusive: “What is encouraging about this exhibition is how the years of theorizing, researching and working on competition entries has culminated in an extraordinary range of work,” he gushes.

Meanwhile architects’ newspaper Building Design interviewed people at the private view last week and has published their quotes on its website. Interior designer Ab Rogers, for example, says: “The highlights for me are some of sculptural models downstairs. I’m less convinced by the furniture – some pieces are amazing but for me the buildings are much more exciting and challenging, particularly the Innsbruck ski jump.”

A mi me parece muy bien que esta señora haga lo que quiera, esas cosas tan raras, tan caras y ecologimanete absurdas. Pero tiene que hacerlo en este planeta? No podriamos meterla en un cohete mandarla a urbanizar marte??

I visited Zaha Hadid exhibition and i am not agree with the architecture critic about the furniture, those forms shapeless (like the water) are one of the best examples of the relationship betwen the way she imagines the spaces and urban forms and how she reproduces this ideas in a smaller scale.
